Title:  Quality Co-ordinator

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Quality Co-ordinator to join our Area 12 team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, detail-oriented individual to support the delivery of high-quality services while helping drive continuous improvement across the contract.
 
Working closely with the Quality Assurance team, you will play a key role in maintaining quality standards, supporting compliance activities, and contributing to the ongoing development of quality management systems and processes.

What you will be doing

 

Documentation Management

 

  • Maintain and update quality documentation within the Area 12 Contract Management System (CMS).
  • Support the management of policies, procedures, safe systems of work, risk assessments, and quality records.
  • Ensure documentation remains accurate, up to date, and compliant.

 

Audit Support

 

  • Assist with the planning and delivery of internal quality audits.
  • Support preparations for external audits and compliance reviews.
  • Help maintain audit records and track actions through to completion.

 

Data Analysis and Reporting

 

  • Collect, analyse, and monitor quality-related data.
  • Identify trends, potential risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare quality reports and management information when required.

 

Training Coordination

 

  • Support the organisation and coordination of training activities.
  • Ensure training records are maintained in line with the Area 12 Training Matrix.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to support training compliance.

 

Non-Conformance Management

 

  • Assist the Quality Manager and Quality Analyst with root cause investigations.
  • Support evidence gathering, corrective action plans, and compliance tracking.
  • Help manage non-conformance closure with the client.

 

Continuous Improvement

 

  • Support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Help identify opportunities to enhance processes, systems, and service quality.
  • Promote a culture of quality and operational excellence across the business.

 

We want to hear from you if you have

 

Essential Experience & Skills

 

  • Experience in a quality assurance, administrative, or similar support role.
  • Experience within a service provider, infrastructure, engineering, manufacturing, or operational environment would be advantageous.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively within a team.

 

Desirable Skills & Qualifications

 

  • Knowledge of quality management systems and industry standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
  • Experience using Microsoft Visio or equivalent process-mapping software.
  • Internal auditing experience.
  • Lead Auditor ISO 9001 qualification.
  • Understanding of root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies.

 

Working Conditions

 

  • Primarily office-based with occasional visits to operational depots.
  • Occasional travel may be required to support audits, meetings, and training activities.
